R25 – Some general pointers for calendars

November 13, 2014

Cancelled Event – Event is cancelled, but it needs to stay on the calendar, so people know it’s cancelled. Leave the event as confirmed, but changed the title to POSTPONED – event name OR CANCELLED – event name.

Events on the Main WCU Calendar – Choose category of Audience – General Public. This will get your event to show on the main calendar.

Stuck/Missing Updates to Events – R25 is not consistently publishing updates. If you don’t see an edit showing on your calendar after 24 hours, please contact the Help Desk to create a ticket for us to manually publish the event. We need the event NUMBER and which CALENDAR it should show on.

Complete Events – Please be sure to complete AT LEAST the following fields in every event to show on the calendar: Name, Title, Description, Location, Time
